    • Client and engagement information: if you engage us for consulting or engineering services, we may collect additional business contact details, billing information, project requirements, and materials you share for the engagement. Such processing may also be governed by a separate services agreement.

    2.2 Information collected automatically

2.3 Information we do not intentionally collect

The Services are not directed to children under 16, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. We also do not intentionally collect sensitive personal data (such as health records, government ID numbers, or financial account credentials) through the public website unless you voluntarily provide it and we have a lawful basis to process it.

    3. How we use your information

We use personal information for the following purposes:

    • Communicate with you: send assessment results, respond to contact requests, schedule consultations, and provide service-related updates.
    • Improve and secure the Services: analyze usage patterns, debug issues, prevent fraud and abuse, and maintain the reliability and security of our systems.

    4. Legal bases for processing

Depending on your location and the context of processing, we rely on one or more of the following legal bases:

    • Consent: when you submit an assessment lead form, opt into marketing, or accept non-essential cookies where required.
    • Contract: when processing is necessary to provide Services you request or to take steps before entering a contract.
    • Legitimate interests: to operate, improve, and secure the Services, understand how they are used, and grow our business in a way that does not override your rights.
    • Legal obligation: when we must retain or disclose information to comply with law.

    5. How we share information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information in the following circumstances:

    • Service providers: trusted vendors who process data on our behalf under contractual obligations, including hosting providers, email delivery services (such as Resend), analytics providers, and scheduling tools (such as Calendly).
    • Professional advisors: lawyers, accountants, insurers, or consultants where necessary for legitimate business purposes.
    • Business transfers: in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets, subject to appropriate confidentiality safeguards.
    • Legal disclosures: when required by law, regulation, legal process, or governmental request, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
    • With your direction: when you ask us to share information or otherwise consent to sharing.

    6. Cookies and tracking technologies

Cookies and similar technologies help us remember preferences, understand how visitors use the site, and measure marketing effectiveness.

6.1 Types of cookies we may use

    • Strictly necessary: required for core site functionality and security.
    • Analytics: help us understand traffic and usage (for example, Google Analytics 4), when enabled.
    • Marketing: used to measure ad performance or retargeting (for example, LinkedIn Insight Tag or Meta Pixel), when enabled.

    6.2 Privacy-first analytics default

By default, Artebello does not load third-party analytics or advertising scripts unless the corresponding identifiers are configured at build time. When analytics are enabled, those providers may set their own cookies and collect information according to their privacy policies.

    6.3 Your choices

You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking cookies may affect certain features. Where required by law, we will request consent before placing non-essential cookies.

    7. Third-party services and links

The Services may link to or integrate with third-party websites and tools, including:

These third parties operate under their own privacy policies. We are not responsible for their practices and encourage you to review their policies before providing personal information.

    8. International data transfers

Artebello serves clients globally. Your information may be processed in countries other than your own, including where our service providers maintain infrastructure. Where required, we implement appropriate safeguards for cross-border transfers, such as standard contractual clauses or equivalent mechanisms recognized under applicable law.

    9. Data retention

We retain personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy, unless a longer period is required or permitted by law. Retention periods vary based on the type of data:

    • Assessment and lead data: retained for a reasonable period to deliver results, follow up on inquiries, and improve our diagnostic tools, unless you request deletion sooner.
    • Contact form submissions: retained as needed to respond and maintain business records.
    • Client engagement records: retained according to contractual obligations and applicable record-keeping requirements.
    • Analytics data: retained according to the configured analytics provider's settings and our internal policies.

When information is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it using commercially reasonable methods.

    10. Security

We implement administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction. These measures include access controls, encryption in transit where supported, and vendor due diligence.

No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. While we work to protect your information, we cannot guarantee absolute security. Please use strong passwords for third-party accounts and notify us promptly if you suspect unauthorized access related to our Services.

    11. Your privacy rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights regarding your personal information, including:

    • Access to the personal information we hold about you
    • Correction of inaccurate or incomplete information
    • Deletion of your information, subject to legal exceptions
    • Restriction or objection to certain processing activities
    • Data portability, where technically feasible
    • Withdrawal of consent, where processing is consent-based
    • Opting out of marketing communications by using unsubscribe links or contacting us

Residents of the European Economic Area, United Kingdom, Kenya, and other jurisdictions with privacy laws may have additional rights. To exercise your rights, contact us using the details in Section 15. We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling a request.

If you are unsatisfied with our response, you may have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

    12. AI Readiness Assessment

The AI Readiness Assessment and AI Readiness Index™ provide indicative organizational readiness scores based on self-reported responses. Results are generated automatically and are intended for informational and planning purposes only. They do not constitute professional advice, audit findings, or a guarantee of outcomes.

If you choose to submit your name, email, or company to receive results, we use that information to deliver your report and, where permitted, follow up regarding Artebello services. Assessment responses may be aggregated and anonymized for statistical analysis and product improvement.

    13. Automated decision-making

The assessment tool applies scoring logic to your responses to produce readiness scores and recommendations. This automated processing does not produce legal or similarly significant effects on you. Human review is available upon request when you contact us about your results.

    14. Changes to this Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or business operations. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page indicates when the policy was most recently revised. Material changes will be posted on this page. Your continued use of the Services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised policy, unless otherwise required by law.
